STAR students are enjoying reading our Summer book, Downriver. It is a story about 8 teenagers who are attending a program called Discovery Unlimited for various personal and behavior reasons. The books Discovery Unlimited program is designed to challenge each of the participants to overcome their struggles through group interaction and support of each other. As the story unfolds, our STAR students are making connections and predictions as to what will happen in future chapters. 
Parents, we have a few additional Downriver books that could be loaned out. If you would like to read along with your child. Please email ahamm@kyrene.org
